Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa, has rejoined boyhood club Kano Pillars after more than a decade spell in Europe and Asain leagues. The forward will spend the rest of the 2020/21 season playing in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) side, since he could not find a European side. Musa with over 40 appearances and 22 goals in the NPFL has agreed to join "Sai Masu Gida" with whom he became the top scorer in 2009 after scoring 18 goals before moving to VVV Venlo in the Netherlands.

UEFA has banned Slavia Prague defender, Ondrej Kudela for one match. He will not feature in Thursday’s Europa League quarter-final first leg against Arsenal. Kudela is under investigation for alleged racial abuse. Rangers midfielder, Glen Kamara, had accused him of racist abuse after the defender leaned into his ear and said something while covering his mouth, in the final stages of their Europa League round-of-16 match. Kudela denied the allegation and Slavia stood by him, alleging a “physical assault” on the 34-year-old.

Inter Milan striker, Romelu Lukaku, revealed that his success story being tied to Antonio Conte is proof that his exit from Manchester United to join Inter Milan was the right decision. Lukaku said this yesterday following the win of his team Inter Milan 1-0 on away match against Bologna in Serie A. Lukaku left Manchester United in the summer of 2019, gave the inter Milan three points through his only goal against Bologna. The win means Inter Milan is now closer to Scudetto glory as the team has moved eight-point clear of its next challenger Milan with the game at hand.
