Senegal ex international, Papa Bouba Diop has died at the age of 42 after a prolonged illness. He played for Fulham, Portsmouth, West Ham and Birmingham in England. The midfielder scored a goal to beat France in Senegal's first World Cup match in 2002. Diop secured his place in his country's history by scoring the winner against reigning champions France in their first ever World Cup game in 2002. Senegal went on to reach the quarter-finals.

The world most decorated football club, Al Ahly has clinched its 139th trophy after defeating fellow Egyptian arch-rivals Zamalek 2-1 in the CAF Champions League final. The newly crowned African champions have now clinched the trophy on nine (9) different occasion and will feature at the FIFA Club World Cup Qatar 2020™, which will be held in Doha from 1 to 11 February 2021.

The Gabonese striker has been short on firepower this season, as have Mikel Arteta’s side as a whole, but he feels a spark is coming. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang admits he is part of Arsenal’s “biggest problem”, but the Gabonese striker believes Mikel Arteta’s side will soon “surprise the world”.
