Land Rover Classic, which is like the special "old car" part of the Jaguar Land Rover company, has brought back a famous car: the Classic Defender V8 Soft Top. This is the first time they have made a Defender with a soft roof like this since 2016. They take older, short-wheelbase "90" Defenders made between 2012 and 2016 and fix them up completely to make something unique. The soft roof (made of canvas) comes in Black, Sand, Dark Khaki, or Navi. It looks like the roofs on the last Defenders they made in 2016. You can also get a smaller "Bikini Hood" if you don't need much protection from the weather.

These new Classic Defender V8s are only built when someone orders one, and buyers can customize them however they want. They can choose from 49 different paint colors or even have them match a special color they like. They can also change things on the outside, like the grilles, door handles, and the lettering on the hood.

Dominic Elms, who is in charge of Land Rover Classic, said that this new soft-top Defender gives people an even better chance to get the classic V8 Defender they have always wanted. He also said they work closely with customers to create a car just for them, made by the same company that originally built it, so they know it is safe and well-made.

The car has a powerful 5.0-liter V8 engine with 405 horsepower and 515Nm of torque, and it has an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Getting a custom and powerful car like this costs a lot of money. The starting price for the new Defender V8 Soft Top is £195,000, plus any taxes.

For that price, customers also get special help from Land Rover Classic's experts in the UK and Germany.
