The Nigerian Army has announced that it repelled another attack by BokoHaram in Arege village in Borno State while attempting to infiltrate 118 Battalion. Scores of the insurgents were reportedly killed, while high caliber weapons were recovered including; one Anti Aircraft Gun, four AK 47 rifles and one Light Machine Gun, with hundreds of different caliber of ammunition.  

The House of Representative is set to launch investigations into the utilization of all funds appropriated to the armed forces. The resolution followed a motion brought under matters of urgent importance by the deputy minority leader, Chukwuka Onyema, at a plenary session on Tuesday 27th Nov.
