The Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) has dismissed the no-case application filed by the suspended Chief Justice of Nigeria, Walter Onnoghen. Recall that he had earlier on Friday dismissed charges of false asset declaration against him as “useless and invalid”, said the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB) failed to follow its standard operations procedure in raising the charges.

The Ondo State Government says it would commence execution of convicts on death row any moment from now. The statement followed the death sentence pronounced on Seidu Adeyemi by Justice Samuel Bola of the Ondo State High Court over the killing of his girlfriend, Khadijat Oluboyo, daughter of former Deputy Governor of the state.

The Federal Government of Nigeria on Thursday 21st of March 2019, has closed its case against the suspended Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Justice Walter Onnoghen, at the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT), after calling three (3) out of the proposed six (6) witnesses.
