President Bola Tinubu on Thursday disclosed that the Federal Government refused to negotiate with or pay ransom to the militants who abducted pupils and teachers in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State in May, insisting that the victims were rescued through an intelligence-led military operation after 56 days in captivity.

Arise News anchor Reuben Abati has called on the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs Didi Esther Walson-Jack, to resign following her admission that due diligence was not adequately carried out in the process that led to the recognition of the purported Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC).
