JUST IN: Court Rejects Kanu’s Fresh Request For Bail, Transfer From DSS Custody
The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja, on Monday, dismissed a fresh application the detained leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, filed to be released on bail, pending the determination of the treasonable felony charge the Federal Government preferred against him. The court, in the ruling that was delivered by trial Justice Binta Nyako, said it was not minded to exercise its discretion in favour of the defendant, whom it said jumped the bail it earlier granted him.
