Gabriel Olonisakin on Thursday 1st August 2019 inaugurated four locally manufactured Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP)vehicles. The report claimed that the soldiers were killed by Boko Haram and ISWAP.

Members of Islamic Movement in Nigeria, otherwise known as Shiites, on Wednesday announced the suspension of their street protests. The movement said the protests which was solely intended for the release of its detained leader, Ibrahim El-Zakzaky; his wife and others were suspended to give room for “some new openings” into the resolution of the matter.
