President Paul Kagame of Rwanda while presenting his lectures during the anti-corruption summit organized by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), has revealed that President Muhammadu Buhari is the African Union champion in the fight against corruption. The leader made the claims at the National Democracy Day Anti-Corruption summit organized by the Economic and Financial (EFCC) in Abuja on Tuesday, June 11th, 2019.

President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday, 1oth June 2019 welcomed the support of the Italian government to help recover and repatriate illegally deposited Nigerian stolen funds in foreign countries. The President made the assertion when he received a delegation from the Italian Parliament led by Senator Vito Petrocelli, Chairman Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs at State House, Abuja.

Contrary to media reports that President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the creation of State Policing, his aides have come out to deny the claims. The Presidency said that President Buhari had requested that the report would be studied and a white paper produced within three months.
