Femi Otedola, a billionaire and philanthropist has announced the donation of N3.7 billion towards the construction of a new building for the Engineering Faculty at Augustine University, Ilara Epe, Lagos State.
This announcement was made known during the university’s 6th convocation ceremony, where Otedola, who serves as the institution’s Chancellor disclosed this devolpement.
His donation follows the completion of the phase 1 of the engineering faculty building which was also funded by him.
Recall that in 2023, Otedola had contributed the sum of N1 million each to the 750 students of Augustine University to serve as scholarship to assist the students.
