The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has directed workers in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and 14 states to commence industrial strike from Sunday, December 1, over failures to comply with the N70,000 new minimum wage.

The Supreme Court, has annuls the National Lottery Act 2005 enacted by the National Assembly on Friday. A seven-member panel of the Supreme Court in a unanimous judgment held that the National Lottery Act 2005 should no longer be enforced in all states, except the Federal Capital Territory, in respect of which the National Assembly is empowered to make laws.
