After a stakeholders' meeting yesterday Saturday at the nation's capital, the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced a new date to conduct the 2021 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
This was revealed by the JAMB Register, Ishaq Oloyede who also made know the extension of registration for the 2021 UTME and Direct Entry, starting 19th June 2021 to end 3rd July 2021.
Oloyede stated that the mock examination is meant to take place on 29th May 2021 as the registration exercise which was meant to conclude yesterday (Saturday) has been extended by two weeks. More so, the board will assign monitoring teams to state and CBT centers to ensure the end of selling e-pins.
“Stakeholders undertook an on-the-spot assessment of the CBT centers and discovered lapses which warranted the extension.
“The challenges among others include candidates non-compliance with registration requirements, using the wrong format to generate profile code, and using multiple phone numbers, among others,” he said.
