Nigerians have commended the effort of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in revitalizing the Port Harcourt refinery, stressing that same will definitely boost Nigeria’s economy and ultimately reduce the pump price of petroleum. The group chief executive officer of NNPC, Mr. Mele Kyari disclosed that the new Port Harcourt refinery is over 90% completion.

It is expected that refinery’s combined crude processing capacity will rise up to 210,000 per day as soon as it is completed.

The representative of Nigeria labour and trade union congress visited the facility in Port Harcourt, Rivers state to confirm the reality of the project.

This laudable project is an attestation to the fact that the Federal Government is working assiduously to alleviate the economic woes of Nigerian citizens.

As soon as the refinery is fully revamped, it is expected that the cost of transportation and cost of goods and services will reduce.

Nigerians will be relieved of the economic hardship and eventually the Federal Government is gradually attending to the plight of average Nigerians.

The revitalization of the gigantic project will boost the standard of living of the Nigerian Citizens.
