Federal Government has launched a national campaign in support of the military fighting against Boko Haram and Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), THE NATION reports. Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism, Lai Mohammed unveiled the campaign yesterday in Abuja.

The Police Service Commission (PSC) has approved the appointment and deployment of Commissioners of Police in Lagos, Kwara, Kogi, and 34 other Command formation within the nation with immediate resumption to various commands ahead of the 2019 general elections.

The Federal Government of Nigeria has revealed that it would commence production of its International passport locally. The revelation was made during the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Iris Smart Technology Limited, an indigenous company, and Nigerian Security Printing and Minting Plc at the Ministry of Interior in Abuja.

The Minister of State for Aviation, Sen. Hadi Sirika, on 5th February 2019 during a meeting with members of the Defence Headquarters Committee for Sensitisation Strategy on Public Appreciation of the Armed Forces said that the Military will have separate queues at the airports as part of measures to appreciate the Nigerian Armed Forces.
