The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Monday said it will offer automatic employment to National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) corps members who distinguished themselves during the 2019 general election.

Blacklist Firms Importing Palm Oil, Buhari Orders CBN

As part of efforts to ensure the growth of small and medium scale enterprises in the country, President Muhammadu Buhari has directed the Central Bank of Nigeria to blacklist any firm, its owner and top management caught smuggling or dumping any of the restricted 43 items into the country. The directive was disclosed by the apex bank Governor, Mr Godwin Emefiele on Friday in Abuja during a meeting with oil palm producers.

President Buhari on Wednesday while presenting a speech during the nation's maiden democracy day noted that his administration was perfecting plans to take over one hundred (100) million Nigerians out of poverty in 10 years. President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday 31st May 2019 expressed deep sadness over the death of the President of Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN), Comrade Francis Johnson.

FG Removes VAT On Cooking Gas

As part of plans to ensure sanity in the Nation's Energy sector, the Federal Government of Nigeria on Thursday 30th May 2019 announced the removal of Value Added Tax (VAT) on liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), also called cooking gas.
