Sweden Declares Sex As Sport, Set To Host Competition

Sweden has officially declared sex as one of its sports and has set to host its competition soon, the first-ever sex competition.
According to the source, the participants will engage in making sex which will last for up to six hours daily until they are worn out.
Subsequently, a panel of judges will then decide the winner of the competition while the audience will also partake in deciding the winner.

Psquare To Drop New Album In Nine Years

Nine years after their last album together, the Nigerian identical twins, Peter and Paul Okoye, known as Psquare are working on a new album. This was disclosed by the due during an interview with CNN recently, they also hinted at releasing an album within the year. Despite the fact that the Okoye brothers have been performing music individually, this is the first time they will be previewing a new song or album release on social media following their reunification after nine years of disputes.

Nigerian Chef Breaks Guinness World Record For Longest Cook-a-thon

Nigerian chef, Hilda Effiong Bassey, better known as Hilda Baci, has broken the Guinness World Record for the “longest cooking marathon by an individual”. The chef, on Monday morning, smashed the 87 hours 45 minutes record set by now-former Guinness World Record holder, Lata Tondon. Hilda launched into the competition on Thursday at exactly 4pm when she put on her cooker, at Amore Gardens in Lekki, Lagos State. The Nigerian Jollof Queen carries on despite having broken the record as she aims to cook for 96 hours, setting a new world record as the first human on earth to spend such an amount of time cooking.

IGP Orders Arrest Of Singer Seun Kuti

The Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Usman Alkali Baba has ordered the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command to arrest Afrobeat singer, Seun Kuti, who was captured on video assaulting a police officer in uniform. This was contained in a statement made available to newsmen in Abuja on Saturday by the Force Public Relations Officer FPRO CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi. The statement also noted that the IGP has equally ordered a speedy and full investigation into the remote and immediate cause(s) of the assault and prosecution of the suspect accordingly.

Chris Brown And I May Put Out An Album – Davido

David Adeleke, known by his stage name Davido has opened up on the possibility of making an album with Chris Brown, says they have 10 songs with the American R&B star. Davido disclosed this in a recent interview on the Bootleg Kev podcast, he said that combined all together, he and the American singer have recorded about ten songs that are yet to be released. He said he is a fan of a Chris Brown, adding that “every time we get in the studio, I’m happy.”

Veteran Nollywood Actor Saint Obi Is Dead 

Nigeria’s veteran actor, Saint Obi, has passed on at the age of 57 after a protracted illness. It was reported that he died since Monday after battling an undisclosed illness for several months with no successful treatment. The Actors Guild of Nigeria is yet to make a statement as the family reportedly had a little disagreement hence the delay to make a formal announcement. The deceased body was deposited at the morgue at Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH) Nollywood fans have been mourning him ever since the news of his death broke out. 

Jerry Springer Dies At Age 79

The legend and one of the most influential and controversial figures in TV history, Jerry Springer has died aged 79. According to a family source he died Thursday morning, peacefully at his home in the Chicago after his health took a turn for the worse. It was disclosed that Jerry battled Cancer battle until last month when it became worst, and he finally stopped working. He had been hosting a folk show on a local radio station in Cincinnati. Jerry hosted the smash hit 'The Jerry Springer Show' for 27 years, becoming America's guilty pleasure wild and raucous TV moments. Before TV, he was a politician who ran a failed campaign for U.S. Congress in 1970, got elected to Cincinnati's City Council in 1971 ... and became the city's mayor in 1977. He served one term.
