Manchester United has on Friday confirmed that Cristiano Ronaldo has sealed a return deal to the club after rival Manchester City pulled out of the deal. Ronaldo, 36, will be moving back to Old Trafford, 12 years after leaving Man Utd to join Real Madrid in 2009, until he joined Juventus in 2018.
Lionel Messi, the six-time Ballon d'Or winner has agreed to join the Ligue 1 team, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) after leaving Barcelona FC. Messi was set to extend his contract with Barcelona FC for a new five-year deal, he even agreed to a 50 percent wage cut but the club announced on Thursday that the deal could not be completed due to “financial and structural obstacles”.
Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba has been pencilled for sale alongside eight other players at Old Trafford this summer in a bid to fund two more signings by the Red Devils. Telegraph report revealed that other players in the sales raw comprise, Jesse Lingard, Diogo Dalot, Facundo Pellestri, Axel Tuanzebe and Brandon Williams.
