Mikel Arteta, the Arsenal manager has reportedly identified Wolves winger Pedro Neto to be signed into the Gunners ahead of Brentford striker Ivan Toney in the January transfer window. According to Football Transfers (h/t Caught Offside), Arteta apparently needs Neto to ease the workload on Bukayo Saka in his squad.

The report added that Arsenal have a limited transfer budget, and valued the Portugal international at £40 million.

Wolves, meanwhile, believe their player Neto is worth £70 million.

Neto has scored 12 goals and provided 18 assists in 119 games for Wolves since joining them from Serie A side Lazio in 2019.

The 23-year-old has scored one goal and provided five assists in eight matches for Wolves this season.

His contract with Wolves will expire in the summer of 2027.
