The guideline known as Policy on Conducting Elections in the Context of COVID-19 Pandemic was made public on Thursday, May 21, in a statement issued by Festus Okoye, INEC National Commissioner and Chairman, Information and Voter Education Committee.

Imo state Governor Hope Uzodinma has assented to a bill repealing the law that created pension allowances and gratuities for ex-public Office Holders like governors, deputy governors, assembly speakers and deputy speakers.
