Boko Haram: FG To Withdraw Military From North East In 2020

The Federal Government has said it would begin gradual withdrawal of the military operations in the north eastern part of the country where the Boko Haram terrorists have been attacking people for almost a decade, stressing that the withdrawal of troops will be done after an “assessment” to determine areas where peace has returned to enable civil authorities to assume full control of security.

In an efforts to ensure that no Nigerian territory is under the control of the Boko Haram terrorist group, troops of Operation Lafiya Dole in a counter operation have lowered the Boko Haram flags hoisted in some communities in Madagali Council Area of Adamawa State after overpowering the terrorists.
