Nigeria Football Federation 2nd Vice President/LMC Chairman Shehu Dikko has been inducted into the FIFA Football Stakeholders Committee, after attending his first meeting of the panel at the Home of FIFA in Zurich, Switzerland on Wednesday, 28 February. FIFA President Gianni Infantino performed the induction alongside the Chairman of the committee, Victor Montagliani, who is also President of CONCACAF and also a FIFA Vice President.

Nigeria’s men’s basketball team, the D’Tigers maintained their 32nd position in the latest FIBA World Ranking for the month of February released on Thursday. D’Tigers are one of the 17 teams that remained stagnant in the latest ranking. Russia's Olympic membership has been restored by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) following its suspension from Pyeongchang 2018.

Russia was banned from February's Games by the IOC over state-sponsored doping.

Despite the ban, 168 Russians competed as neutrals in South Korea, and two of them failed drugs tests.

Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), have officially signed a five-year partnership deal with Nigerian Breweries Plc, brewers of Star Lager and Amstel Malta, the according to reports. The deal which was signed penultimate week in Lagos, was confirmed on Star Nigeria’s verified Twitter handle.
