Fire outbreak destroyed millions of valuables at the Ogunpa Labaowo market in Agbokojo, Ibadan, Oyo State on Friday. Valuables such as concrete mixers, mattresses, and equipment for automobile repairs, were among the goods gutted by the fire.
The Chairman of the Ogunpa Labaowo Plant Mechanic Association, Azeez Ibrahim, stated that the fire outbreak which begins in the early hour on Friday occurred as a result of a surge in power supply to the area.
Ibrahim also appealed to the State Government and other well wishers for intervention.
