About twenty eight ships laden with food items, petroleum products and other goods will arrive at the various ports in Lagos between June 28 and July 10.
The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) made this disclosure on Wednesday in a publication titled “Shipping Position’. According to the report, the ships contained “petrol, buck wheat, bulk fertiliser, general cargo, bulk corn, bulk sugar, bulk coke, Aviation Turbine Kerosene, frozen fish and containers laden with goods”
The report further hinted that eight ships have already arrived at the ports, waiting to berth with bulk gypsum, bulk coke, bulk fertiliser and petrol, while 19 other ships are discharging buck wheat, bulk fertiliser, frozen fish, general cargo, bulk sugar, petrol, steel products, general cargo, bulk corn and diesel.
