Former Super Eagle Captain, John Mikel Obi, has clear the air over his alleged beef with a Nigerian singer, 2face Idibia, popularly known as 2baba. Few days ago, rumour had it that the football legend has in year 2006 while in club in London ignored the singer. Few years later, 2face released a song titled “only me” which many of his fans assumed that the song was targeted at Mikel Obi over the alleged beef.
However, to clarify the air, Mikel obi has come out to say that the incident never happened from the first place.
The former Chelsea midfielder insisted he is a fan of 2baba and would never disrespect him.
On an Instagram, a user name with the handle @xfranky22 queried: “Did you truly snub 2face at a club in London back in 2006?”
While responding, Mikel Obi said: “No, I never did. Am a big fan of his. So I wouldn’t do such a thing. Have a lovely day.”
