Issakaba Sequel Is In The Pipeline - Sam Dede

Veteran Nollywood actor, Sam Dede has hinted via his Instagram page the return of the 2001 Nollywood classic, ‘Issakaba’.

The veteran star who is set to reprise his role as Ebube wrote on his page “Issakaba!!! The Myth returns. A river does not flow through a forest without bringing down trees. Men with evil minds lurk in the dark. But….. Justice is mine,” in an upcoming remake of the 2001 action-packed Nollywood film ‘Issakaba’.

The 2001 classic which hosted the likes of Andy Chukwu, Zulu Adigwe, Diewait Ikpechukwu, Remmy Ohajianya, Emeka Nwafor, Tom Njemanze, Uche Odoputa, and Emeka Ani, will be seeing new faces.

Chidi Mokeme and Josephine ‘Phyna’ Otabor, the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) season seven winner, will be joining the cast of the movie.

While the production of the sequel is still in progress, the release date remains undisclosed. 

Lancelot Imasuen who directed the 2001 classic will also be overseeing this new project.
