Popular Nigerian rapper, Babalola Falemi also known in the entertainment industry as Sauce Kid has been released from United States Prison after serving terms for fraud related crime. Recall that in 2017, reports had emerged that the talented rapper was serving a two-year jail term for stealing $15,388 using stolen credit card numbers in the US.

According to the report, Sauce Kid had reportedly obtained stolen bank card numbers and information from their owners. He then allegedly encoded the account numbers onto blank plastic cards.

After using an automated system to change account PINs, he was able to withdraw cash from bank ATMs and buy merchandise from stores between July 23 – 26, 2016.

Following his release, some Nigerian artistes have talken to the social media to welcome him back. For instance, Davido on Sunday took to his Twitter handle to welcome him back to the outside world.

He had tweeted "Welcome home Sinzuuuuuuu"
