US President Donald Trump says he wants Russia to be part of the G7 group of key industrialised nations.

Trump Frees 63-Year–Old After Kim Kardashian's Plea

President Trump has granted clemency to 63-year-old great grandmother Alice Johnson, who has been serving life in prison for a non-violent drug offence.

At least 25 people were killed when Guatemala’s Fuego volcano erupted Sunday, belching ash and rock and forcing the capital’s main airport to close. Canada filed a case against the U.S. at the World Trade Organization (WTO) on Friday, marking the latest effort by a key U.S. ally to put pressure on the Trump administration to remove stiff tariffs on steel and aluminum imports. Canada joins the E.U. in dragging a mounting trade dispute with the U.S. to the WTO, which regulates international trade.

The US is to impose tariffs on steel and aluminium imports from allies in Europe and North America. The US said a 25% tax on steel and 10% tax on aluminium from the EU, Mexico and Canada will start at midnight. The move immediately triggered vows of retaliation from Mexico and the EU, which called the tariffs "protectionism, pure and simple".
