The President of United States, Donald Trump has described his tour of Asia as very successful stressing that 'America is back again'. President Trump stated this on Thursday from the Diplomatic Reception Room of the White House. He maintained that the trip to Asia was used to correct the mistakes of his predecessors as well as fulfill his campaign promises. He had promised to address all trade imbalances and all unfair deals that are disadvantageous to the US.

According to him; "I vowed that we would reaffirm old alliances and form new friendships in pursuit of shared goals. Above all I swore that in every decision, every action I would put the best interest of the American people first. Over the past 10 months traveling the globe and meeting with world leaders, that is exactly what I have done."

"My fellow citizens, America is back, and the future has never looked brighter," he added.

Meanwhile Trump has been touted for failing to obtain a written commitment from the region to rebalance trade with the United States or Change trade practices that have disadvantaged United States. Other media houses including CNN and New York Times also faulted Trump for failing to blame China for its unfair trade practices thus giving credit to the country for shortchanging the US.

Responding to this criticism, Trump tweeted "The failing @nytimes hates the fact that I have developed a great relationship with World leaders like Xi Jinping, President of China. They should realize that these relationships are a good thing, not a bad thing. The U.S. is being respected again. Watch Trade!"
