Respite may have come for serving and prospective National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members as the minister of youths and sports, Sunday Dare has disclosed that corps will soon enjoy the new minimum wage.
Dare disclosed this in a tweet on his verified twitter handle @SundayDareSD on Wednesday evening.
“New Minimum Wage: NYSC members to enjoy new minimum wage/ allowance.
He noted that the Director-General of the scheme will provide details of the new allowance for the Youth Corp members after a full briefing from the Ministries of Finance and Youths and Sports Development.
