DSS To Begin Production Of Drones, Other Weapons

The Department of State Services (DSS) has disclosed it would begin production of drones, AK-47s and other weapons that would be used by the Service. This was made known by the Director-General (DG) of DSS, Yusuf Magaji Bichi on Saturday during the graduation ceremony of participants of the Executive Intelligence Management Course (EIMC) 16 at the National Institute for Security Studies, Abuja.

Kaduna Bombing: We Shall Ensure That Victims Get Justice – Sultan

The Sultan of Sokoto Dr. Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar(III) has demanded that victims of military airstrikes where over 100 innocent villagers were killed at Tudun Biri village, Igabi LGA, in Kaduna state deserve justice urging authorities to take responsibility instead of blame game. Sultan was speaking today during a Silver Anniversary of the 11th Emir of Jama’a, Alhaji (Dr) Muhammad Isa Muhammad (CON) on the throne, at the Emir’s Palace in Kafanchan, Kaduna. 

NHRC And CSOs Reiterates Their Commitment Against Gender Based Violence

The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has reiterated its resolute stand and commitment to address critical issues affecting the rights of women and girls and other human rights generally. The assertion was made in Bauchi on Saturday by the Coordinator of the NHRC, Bauchi Office, Yatchi Dala during the last day of 2023 16 Days of activism against Gender-based violence.

Kaduna Bombing: President Tinubu Vows To Punish Anyone Found Culpable

Vice President, Kashim Shettima has reiterated President Bola Tinubu's vow to punish anyone found culpable in the accidental bombing by the Nigerian Army in Tudun Biri Village, Igabi Local Government Area of kaduna State, resulting in the deaths of over 90 inhabitants. Mr. Shettima, who represented President Tinubu during a visit to the victims of the bombing at Barau Dikko Teaching Hospital Kaduna on Thursday said the government will surely get to the root of the matter. He stated, “All measures will be taken to ensure that future occurrences are averted. The government will go to the root of the issue and anyone found culpable will be punished accordingly.”
