He was also named Premier League Hublot Young Player Of the Season to complete a magnificent double for the City forward. He has already won the 2023 Football Writers’ Association Footballer of the Year award and has also been shortlisted for the PFA Player of the Season and PFA Young Player of the Season prizes.

Arsenal legend, Thierry Henry insisted that Paris Saint Germain forward, Lionel Messi is not their problem. Henry disclosed this while expressing his disappointment at PSG fans for booing Messi as his situation in the club becomes noxious. Recall, Messi was recently booed by PSG faithful during his first game after his suspension by the club, when they defeated Ajaccio 5-0 last Saturday.

PSG Suspends Lionel Messi For Two Weeks

The Paris St-Germain has suspended its captain Lionel Messi for two weeks after traveling to Saudi Arabia without obtaining permission from the club. The 35-year-old football superstar was said to have requested a pass to enable him to travel to the country but was not permitted before he proceeded for the journey on April 30th, hence Messi being suspended for two games and fined two weeks' wages. The reported suspension comes at a delicate time as the French club had hoped to extend the Argentinian star’s contract beyond this season.
