Chelsea Coach, Antonio Conte has risen in defence of Victor Moses as reactions continue to trail his controversial red card during the FA Cup Final at Wembley.

Conte has described the winger as an honest player who had no intention to deceive the referee.

Conte who made the statement while addressing journalists said "I did not see the situation. I do not know for sure, but there is a lot of attention on this at the moment. Sometimes I think it could be tiredness. We are at the end of the season and a lot of players are tired and then there is a lot of pressure. For sure, it is not a good situation to dive, it is true. But Moses is an honest player and, if there was this situation, he was tired and he did not want to cheat the referee.”

Moses was red carded in the second half of the game for simulation. Arsenal went ahead to lift the FA Cup Title.
