Liverpool have announced they have agreed a club-record deal to sign Southampton defender Virgil van Dijk from Southampton. The club posted a picture of the Netherlands defender on their website holding a Liverpool jersey and saying that he will join the team when the transfer window reopens on Jan. 1.

Chelsea Manager, Antonio Conte says he will honour his remaining contract at Stanford Bridge despite building rumour linking him away from the club. Reports had emerged that the Italian may not last longer at Stanford Bridge following a poor start of the season as well as the crisis that resulted in the shock exit of Diego Costa from the club. The speculation which initially centered on his own reservations and possible resignation, have since moved on to suggestions of a sacking when the club is knocked out of Europe.

Borrussia Dortmund Striker, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is set leave German Bundesliga for Chelsea in January. According to ESPN FC pundit, and former Venezuela striker Alejandro Moreno, the player had signaled his desire to leave Germany last summer after handing in an official transfer request. Although he later rescinded his decision, he is believed to have made up his mind to leave this January.

Liverpool Football Club have reportedly ask Daniel Sturridge to leave the club in January when the transfer window opens. According to the Sun, Jurgen Klopp informed the player that he will be allowed to leave. His departure would relieve the club of his £125,000-per-week wages. He is currently being linked with a move to Valencia, Real Betis and West Ham. The forward who has failed to impress Jurgen Klopp and break into the starting eleven would have to leave the club in search of more playing time in order to make England's list for next year's FIFA World Cup.

Chelsea playmaker, Eden Hazard may have turned down a new contract offer worth 340, 000 Euros per week a deal that could have guaranteed the Belgian almost 18m Euros a year. According to Marca, the player has refused to sign the deal at least for now. The report claimed that Hazard's decision to delay the contract may not be unconnected with perceived interest from Spanish giant, Real Madrid.

Manchester United Midfielder, Paul Pogba says Tottenham Hotspur's hottest asset Dele Alli is worth more than £100m in the transfer market amidst interest from United. Pogba who became the most expensive footballer in the world when he moved to Old Trafford from Juventus for £89.3m in 2016 explained that the 21-year-old Alli is worth more than that.
