Liverpool Football Club have reportedly ask Daniel Sturridge to leave the club in January when the transfer window opens. According to the Sun, Jurgen Klopp informed the player that he will be allowed to leave. His departure would relieve the club of his £125,000-per-week wages. He is currently being linked with a move to Valencia, Real Betis and West Ham. The forward who has failed to impress Jurgen Klopp and break into the starting eleven would have to leave the club in search of more playing time in order to make England's list for next year's FIFA World Cup.
Sturridge was still left out of the Three Lions squad for the last round of internationals, with Tammy Abraham and Liverpool team-mate Dominic Solanke both making their senior debuts. This latest refusal by Gareth Southgate to include the forward came when talisman Harry Kane was injured with bookmakers envisaging that he would be banked on.
Sturridge who has already spent four years at Anfield after leaving Chelsea has started only five Premier League games this season and has missed the last three games altogether with a hamstring strain.
