Nigeria and Sunderland striker Victor Anichebe, has reportedly completed a move to Chinese club Beijing Enterprises.
Anichebe, who was released by Sunderland following their relegation from the Premier League, has now moved to the second-tier side in China.
The striker was signed by David Moyes, from Everton, but managed to score three goals in 18 Premier League appearances, in a season marred by recurring knee injury.
Anichebe will now join up with fellow Nigerian, Leke James, at his new club.
Head coach of Beijing Enterprises, Gao Hongbo said, "We are delighted with the signing of Victor, who played in the Premier League. It’s a positive development for our whole club.”
“Victor hasn’t trained on the pitch since the Premier League season ended, so it may take a while for him to integrate into our team. We have to be patient with him."
The club is still recovering from a recent tragedy following the sudden death of former Newcastle midfielder Cheikh Tiote, who suffered a heart attack during a training session last month.
Beijing Enterprises currently sits 11th in the 16-team China League One.
