School Reopening: Gombe State Approves 5th October
The approval for the reopening of all Public and private schools in Gombe state has been granted by the government, which it said will take effect from Monday, October 5, 2020. This is coming, after six month of COVID-19 break. The state commissioner for Education, Dr. Habu Dahiru, who disclosed this while speaking with newsmen on in Gombe on Thursday, said they would complete third term of 2019/2020 academic session in three weeks and begin first term from October 25. "By this announcement therefore, all schools are to open as follows; October 4 for boarding schools, October 5 for day schools, including primary, Islamiya and Tsangaya," commissioner Dahiru said.
