Hip-hop stars, Sound Sultan and Seyi Shay, were among top entertainers, who thrilled fans with electrifying performances at the official launch of Hot FM, an urban and lifestyle radio station based in Lagos.
The event, which took place on the Victoria Island, also brought together prominent celebrities like Solidstar, Lynxx, Uti Nwachukwu, and other leading players in Nigeria’s entertainment circle.
Apart from the musicians, renowned disk jockeys, DJ Oluwabruce, DJ Ruud, DJ Sensei Lo, DJ Sose and DJ Nana were also on hand to add colour to the occasion.
Established and operated by Spectrum Broadcasting Co. Nig Ltd since January 2005, Hot FM first birthed in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital, before debuting in Owerri, Imo State, not too long afterwards.
Since hitting the airwaves on the 93.3 frequency in Lagos, the new station has proven to be popular among the city’s growing population, especially with its audio-visual experience, giving online listeners a lot more to ‘swallow’.
DJ Anonymous, Sensei Uche, Misi Molu, Jah-super, EfikNikky and Cjay will be among experienced programme anchors operating on the new radio station.
