The upcoming 19th edition of the Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA), is scheduled to take place in a few days. Nancy Isime, Rahama Sadau, and Richard Ato Turkson have been unveiled as the hosts of the highly-anticipated 19th edition of the Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA).
This was revealed in a statement by the AMAA Chief Operating Officer, Anih Tony, after meeting with the board of the Africa Film Academy.
In his words, "Our charismatic hosts for AMAA 2023 are Rahama Sadau, Richard Ato Turkson, and Nancy Isime. Get ready to be charmed, entertained, and dazzled on October 29, 2023! The stage is set for a night of cinematic excellence," Anih said.
Isime, one of the hosts who happens to be a TV presenter and actress said, "Absolutely looking forward to hosting the AMAAs on October 29. Hoping to see everyone there, as it promises to be an unforgettable evening."
Turkson, also, one of the three hosts expressed his excitement for hosting the Prestigious Continental Films awards ceremony.
Rahama Sadau, stated, "I am super excited and can’t wait to host the 2023 AMAAs."
The event is expected to gather big personalities, and celebrities, among others, from home and abroad.
Lagos State Governor, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, Haitian actor, and producer Jimmy Jean-Luois, and the Lagos State Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Toke Benson-Awoyinka among others have been confirmed to be present at the Venue where the event is scheduled to hold.
Themed 'Renaissance: Legacy in Motion', this year's event will redefine the continental awards ahead of future plans and the 20th edition.
The prestigious award will take place at the Balmoral Convention Center inside the Sheraton Hotel, Ikeja GRA, Lagos State.
