Migrants Die As Boat Capsizes In Tunisia

Sixty persons suspected to be migrants from Bangladesh, Egypt, Morocco, Chad and other African countries have reportedly died after their boat capsized in the Mediterranean Sea. The boat which left Libya for Italy sank off Tunisia.

Sudan Military Chiefs Resign

Barely a week after the ousting of  Sudani leader, Omar al-Bashir three members of Sudan’s ruling military council has resigned after it reached a truce with protest leaders who have called for a million-strong march to demand a civilian government.
The 10-member military council had invited the protest leaders for a meeting after the leaders suspended talks with the army rulers on Sunday.

Following the destructive Cyclone Idai, which killed people and flattened villages, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has disclosed that it will grant Mozambique a $118.2 million credit facility to aid in rebuilding damaged structures.
