Latest national poll conducted by Bloomberg indicates that the approval rating of Hillary Clinton, the former Presidential Candidate in the last US election has dropped significantly. Figures obtained from the report revealed that only 39% of Americans currently view the Former Secretary of State favorably, two points lower than President Trump’s 41%.

The White House has announced the nomination of Jon Huntsman as the Ambassador to Russia. His name is due to be forwarded to the Senate for confirmation.  According to Washington Post, President Donald Trump had since nominated Huntsman for the position but delayed the announcement in order to allow the Russian Government approve his selection.

Former Brazilian President, Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva

According to AP, the former president, Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, who brought Brazil to prominence on the world stage, has been found guilty of corruption and money laundering — a historic judgment underscoring that no one is out of reach of this Latin American country's sprawling graft investigation.

The United States administration is planning to clampdown on visitors with overstayed visas. The Department of Homeland Security, (DHS) mentioning Nigeria, Brazil, Venezuela, China and Colombia as the countries with the most totals of overstays. The DHS, says it will now step up enforcement to attempt to cut down on the violations. The US government is introducing face scan for all US citizens travelling abroad.
