Suspicious Degree: NYSC Denies 8 Foreign Graduates Registration

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Coordinator in Kano State, Alhaji Ladan Baba, says no fewer than eight foreign graduates were refused registration into the youth service due to suspicious and inconsistent documents.

Expect Allowance Increment Soon: DG NYSC

According to the Director-General, National Youth Service Corps (DG-NYSC), Brigadier General Shuaibu Ibrahim, youth Corps members would soon receive 30, 000 monthly allowances expected in September 2019 once-monthly allowance would be increased as soon as the Federal Government starts the payment of the new minimum wage to all public servants nationwide.

585,498 Students Out of 1.6 Million Got Tertiary Education Admission In 2018 – JAMB

According to the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) on Sunday 8, September 2019 released the admission statistics of Nigerian tertiary institutions for the 2018 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), indicating that 443,624 candidates out of a total 1,662,762 candidates got admission into various Nigerian universities.

JAMB To Use NIN For 2020 UTME Candidate Registration

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that it is partnering with the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) to use the National Identity Number for the conduct of the 2020 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
