Include Almajiris In School Feeding Programme, Reps Tells FG

The House of Representatives on Thursday called on the Federal Government to conduct headcounts of Almajiris in the country and enroll them into the homegrown school feeding programme introduced by the current administration.

American Varsities Offer Award $7.5m Scholarship to Nigerian Students

The United States Embassy in Nigeria has disclosed that it has awarded 303 Nigerian Students from 17 states with partial and full scholarship of at least $7.5 million from 225 American varsities for the 2019/2020 academic session.
The Acting US Consul General, Osman Tat made the disclosure on Tuesday in Lagos during the 2019 EducationUSA pre-departure orientation for students who received fall admissions and scholarships.

FG Directs Return Of History To Schools

Following complains by parents and scholars on the need to re-introduce the teaching of History, the Federal Government of Nigeria has directed all basic and secondary schools across the country to immediately implement the teaching of history as a standalone subject.
