A 21-Storey building located on Gerard Road, upmarket Ikoyi in Lagos has collapsed on Monday. Residents of the area have gathered around the building to assist in any way they can. The collapsed structure is said to be a building still under construction.

Troops conducting Exercise Golden Dawn in the South East have neutralized one of the Biafran National Guard gunmen. Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide has kicked against the 7 days sit-at-home order declared by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) which is planned to commence from November 5, 2021. The Igbo group stressed that the execution of such irrational order will hurt all Igbos. Anambra Poll: IGP Deploys DIG, AIGs, CPs

Abuja-Kaduna Rail Services Resume October 23 – FG

The Federal Government has announced the resumption of the Abuja-Kaduna rail services (AKTS), following the completion of repairs on the track after the suspected terrorist attack on the tracks. The Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi made the announcement while inspecting the facility between Rijana and Dutse route on Friday, saying the train services will resume on Saturday, October 23, 2021, adding that the Department of States Services (DSS) and the Nigeria Army have commenced efforts towards apprehending the perpetrators.
