Bandits Kill Three, Abduct 50 Others In Zamfara

The Bagega community in Zamfara state was frightened into derail has bandits attacked villagers, killed three persons and abducted over 50 people others including a district head, women and children.

 

According to residents, the assailants rode on motorcycles, shot indiscriminately and set several houses ablaze. 

Confirming the attack, the village head, Abubakar Uba, disclosed that the gunmen kidnapped the district head before proceeding to kidnap others in the village. 

“They stormed the village on dozens of motorcycles, and their first stop was the district head’s residence. A few of them took him away with three members of his household before they entered the town and unleashed more harm”.
