President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of Adewale Adeniyi as the Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS). This was made known in a statement issued on Friday by Mr. Willie Bassey, the Director of Information, Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.
The statement revealed that, “the appointment took effect from October 19, 2023, and his tenure is in accordance with the extant provisions of the Public Service Rules”, and added that President Tinubu expects Adeniyi to bring his wealth of experience for his new assignment.
