Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kano is calling for immediate cancellation of re-run election following alleged irregularities and infractions. According to Rabiu Suleiman Bichi, Acting State Chairman of the party, what is going on in Kano is a fraud not election.
He alleged that the APC has imported thugs from Zamfara, Katsina, Kaduna, and other neighbouring states. The thugs are well armed and some of them pretend to be electorates of those polling units.
“As I address you now, we have reports that some of our agents have been killed, vehicles burnt, property destroyed in Doguwa, Nasarawa, Minjibir, Dala and Tudun Wada Local Government Area. These with other infractions made us to completely lose faith in the whole exercise and therefore, call on INEC to cancel this election.”
