President Muhammadu Buhari has signed the 2019 Appropriation bill of N8.91 trillion into law few days after it was passed by the National Assembly.
Accordingly, the budget consist of N4.65 trillion as recurrent expenditure, N2.94 trillion as Capital expenditure allocation, N502.58 Billion as statutory transfer and N2.25 trillion for debt servicing.
The two chambers of the National Assembly after receiving the budget of N8.826 trillion from President Buhari added N90 billion onto the budget.
President Buhari in his remark while signing the budget said that changes introduced by the National Assembly may affect its implementation.
The budget was signed in presence of, Ike Ekwerenmadu, the Deputy Senate president, Yakubu Dogara, Speaker House of Reps, Danjuma Goje, chairman senate committee on appropriation.
Meanwhile, Bukola Saraki, senate president arrived late towards rounding up of the program.
