Vice President, Kashim Shettima will be representing President Bola Tinubu at the 15th BRICS summit of Head of State and Government, which is slated for 2nd to 24th August 2023 to deliberate issues on trade and investment facilitation, sustainable development, innovation, and global governance reform. This information was revealed in a statement by the Director of Information, Office of the Vice President, Olusola Abiola on Monday in Abuja. The BRICS, an acronym for Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa, is a group of five major emerging and developing economies.

Bunmi Tunji-Ojo is redeployed as the Minister of Interior and Hon. Sa’idu Alkali is redeployed as the Minister of Transportation.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reiterated his stance on the economic growth of his citizen, he has reassured Nigerians that no stone will be left unturned in his administration's multifarious efforts to stimulate the economy and make it work for the good of all Nigerians.
