Tinubu Inaugurates New Ministers

President Bola Tinubu on 21st August 2023 has sworn into office, 45 ministers-designate at the State House Conference Center, Abuja as he charges them to carry out their duties effectively. This is coming 84 days after the president assumed office on 29th May 2023. The oath of office was administered by the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Olukayode Ariwoola... Earlier, the Special Adviser to Tinubu on Media and Publicity, Aguri Ngelale, read the citation of the Ministers, which was followed by oath-taking.

David Umahi (Ebonyi) and Festus Keyamo (Delta) have been sworn in as the Minister of Works and Aviation and Aerospace Development, respectively.

Lateef Fagbemi (Ogun) and Ali Pate (Bauchi) have also been sworn in as the Federation’s Attorney General, Minister of Justice, and the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, respectively.

Apart from the new ministers and Mr. Tinubu, the event was also attended by dignitaries such as Vice President Kashim Shettima, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Speaker of the House Representatives Tajudeen Abass, and Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume.
