APC Postpones Kwara State Gubernatorial Election Campaign

The Kwara State chapter of the All Progressives Congress on Thursday postponed its plan to launch Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq’s governorship election campaign, citing insecurity as reasons.

The Minister of Communications and an aggrieved governorship aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Adebayo Shittu, has vowed never to campaign or support his party’s governorship candidate in the State ahead of the 2019 general elections.

A Prelate of Methodist Church, Most-Rev. Samuel Uche has cautioned Ndigbo against boycotting the forthcoming 2019 general elections, stressing that the move being championed by the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu would be counterproductive.
