FG Concedes To ASUU Demands, Strike To Be Called Off

Indications of an imminent end to the ongoing strike embarked by the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, emerged early today, as the union has accepted some proposals put forward by the Federal Government in line with some of its demands.

Allegation Of $1.2m London House Untrue – Sen. Oduah

The senator representing Anambra North in the National Assembly, Stella Oduah, has debunked allegation that she bought a 1.2 million dollars house in England while she was Minister of Aviation, saying it is untrue. Sen. Oduah said at a News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) forum in Abuja on Thursday, that the allegation made in an online publication was a total falsehood, without any foundation.

South-East Governors Deny Accusing FG Of Killing IPOB Members

The South-East Governors’ Forum has described a report that it accused the Federal Government of killing members of Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) members as a ’’tissue of lie from the pit of hell’’. FRSC Intercepts Suspected Child Trafficker With 14 Children

Officials of Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Ebonyi State Command on Thursday intercepted a suspected child-trafficker with 14 children in the state.  The Command made this known in a statement posted on its official Facebook page. The statement also had pictures and video of the incident attached to it.
